Agenda & Minutes:

PBID Board & The Brown Act
The PBID Board operates under California’s Ralph M. Brown Act, the state’s open-meeting law. This means:
-
Meetings are open to the public and anyone may attend.
-
Agendas are posted in advance so the community knows what will be discussed.
-
Decisions must be made in public, not behind closed doors.
-
Public comment is required, giving property owners and community members the opportunity to speak.
-
Board materials and actions are part of the public record, ensuring full transparency.
In short, the Brown Act ensures that the PBID Board conducts its business openly, transparently, and with public participation.
