Ambassadors Annual Report (2025)
In the year 2025, Chico Downtown Property-based Improvement District (PBID) Ambassadors cleaned up 416 sharps, 305 incidents of human waste, 97 spills, and made 3,397 homeless contacts. Virtual Tour of Downtown Vacancies in New StoryMap
Under the initiative to create a vibrant and welcoming physical downtown destination, the Downtown Building Enhancement Committee conducted an inventory and assessment of vacant buildings in downtown Chico. In order to market those properties, a new StoryMap offers a virtual tour of those properties, with specs and photos. Important Update: Warren Settlement
On August 14, 2025, the City of Chico filed a new Rule 60 Motion in Federal Court, asking Judge Dale Drozd to grant relief from, or modify, the Warren Settlement Agreement. In the year 2024, Chico Downtown Property-based Improvement District (PBID) Ambassadors cleaned up 114 sharps, 435 incidents of human waste, 962 spills, and made 5,493 homeless contacts. They also provided hospitality assistance an astounding 10,817 times.
